Modern day thrillers
I went to the movies the other day to watch Annabelle. I haven't seen a proper thriller for ages. All the movies in the genre are either too funny and I cant stop laughing or are just weird. Oh, or have that sound or visual heart attack effect etc..
..anyways Annabelle.. I liked like 3/4 of the movie, it was tense until that burned moth or whateverz took possession over one girl.. than the earthquake effect on the house ..meh.. and what is about demons and breaking human bones in that bizarre way? That's in nearly every demonish movie. It's like you watch one movie and you seen them all..
..so the movie was not bad, but still I'd like to see demons a bit trickier than burned moths with a bone breaking fetish, apocalyptic earthquake abilities and that vomiting something into the prey to take possession over the body.. that vomiting stuff was maybe fun in the parody exorcist version otherwise cmon..

Hah. Modern horror. I still prefer the old Hitchcock's Birds :)
Yeah, It's a classic. But you can't watch the same old movies over and over again :P Though I don't particularly like movies where animals are portrayed as feral creatures for no reason.. like in some shark movies :D
