How to take off the skin of almonds / Mandeln enthäuten
Bring water to boil in a pan
Bringe Wasser in einem Topf zum kochen
Add the almonds into the boiling water
Füge die Mandeln in das kochende Wasser hinzu
Let it boil for just one minute
Lasse es für nur eine Minute sprudelnd kochen
Pour through strainer
Gieße es durch ein Sieb
Put the almonds into a bowl and add cold water to it.
Gib die Mandeln in eine Schüssel und füge kaltes Wasser hinzu
Now you can start squeezing the almonds out of their skins
Jetzt kannst du die Mandeln aus ihrer Haut rausdrücken
Or you take a handful and rub them against each other to lösen the skins
Oder du nimmst eine Handvoll Mandeln und reibst sie gegeneinander um die Schalen zu lösen
I let the shelled almonds dry on a towel
Ich lasse die Mandeln auf einem Tuch trocknen
Et Voilà right goes to the chickens links I use for baking

Good trick. Do they taste the same?
No they taste a bit different. More smooth, exquisite. I try to find the right words. Especially in baked good if you use ground almonds without skin it makes them more of a delicacy.
