There are some people who love riding in raining weather and others hate it. What it comes down to is your mindset, it can be an interesting challenge or a trip down slippery lane. One thing I actually like about riding in raining weather is that it requires you to stay calm and smooth ,that's good things to practice for any kind of riding.

Here are some tips to ride in rain:

Don't trust puddles: Avoid riding in puddles,it could be hiding a foot deep pothole.

Avoid shinny smooth surfaces: Surfaces that are a kind of slippery on dry days become very perilously slippery in rainy days.

Keep cool: stay relaxed and don't make sudden moves.

Just do one thing at a time: Finish your deceleration before turning into a corner, that will reduce the drag demands on your tires.

Give yourself time and space: reduce your speed and put more space bet. you and vehicle in front of you,because braking distances are longer in the rain and you can not count on having drag when you need it plus, you need more time to scan the road ahead and to choose your lane.

Find a dry line: Try to ride in the tire tracks of a vehicle in front of you because a car's wheel can act like a plow by pushing water on the road out of the way.
