How to get your picture up on your steemit account.

Go to postimage.org On their opening page I recommend selecting avatar from the top drop doan menu that is in the middle of the page. You will be offered places to go on your own computer. If you know where a picture is on your computer that you would like to use, go ahead and select it. Maybe you have one in "pictures" or "library". Once you have a picture selected click on it and then click on open. A picture will come up with a http: address. Copy that http: address by right clicking on it. Go to steemit and click on the circle in the upper right hand corner. One of the offerings will be settings, click that and a format cal;led "public profile" will appear. There will be a space that says Profile Picture URL (http:) right click on that box so as to past the characters the you copies while on postimage.com and you picture should appear on steemit. I hope that is helpful. As I say as I learn something new, I will share it. Also will share what I already know and at age 74 that cache that should be a lot. Hope this helpful to someone.
