'Face it' means to face the facts. 'Book it' means to run like your pants are on fire.. so I guess 'facebook it' means to show the truth to EVERYONE like the world depends on it.
"Bottom of the barrel" means not very desirable. "Shooting fish in a barrel" means easy pickings. So, what happens if you shoot fish at the bottom of a barrel? Correct answer? The world would end.
You might be surprised to know that you might be surprised to know that.. well, I can't tell you because that would ruin the surprise, you know? I just know you agree.
If I had a nickel for every time I said "If I had a nickel for every time..", I'd have 1 nickle right now..

Ha! Yeah I'm going to be regularly posting again (at least this series). Though all my steem power is tied up in minnow booster. I'll probably get some of it back for upvotes. How you been?
Sounds cool. My steem power is tied up in my @asapers project so I'm not doing much in terms of upvotes either. The only reason I still can earn some curation rewards is due to a generous delegation of 500 I've had for a long time now.
Besides that, I'm fine. I'm a full time student since March this year and school starts next week again. How about you?
Oh cool! I'm impressed that quite a few people I followed a year or so ago still use this. I don't mean that in a bad way.. I think Steemit has a bright future, but early days don't have the best retention. Good luck with school! Not a whole lot for me. Life is good.
Yeah, a bunch of "oldies" have left though, or seems to have left due to their inactivity, but there's still a bunch of people here.
I think Steemit has a bright future too, but I think we should focus on building something similar to a middle class. Which is pretty much what I'm trying to do, even though I have minimal impact overall so far. :D
Well, in all honesty, I'm just trying to get the newcomers to get inspired and motivated enough to stay... And with time, we might just be able to create a working middle class to encourage and inspire others too. That should solve most of the retention issues.
Communities should help. Better App (official app), going live out of Beta, and the likely BTC jump later this year should all help. I've not powered down at all.

Isn't this merely version 0.14 or something? At this rate we're a long way from 1.0!
