Hello,

There is no response to verification request on previous post:

https://steemit.com/humor/@markrhunter/everybody-jokes-about-the-weather-but-only-the-desperate-move

We recommend not to ignore our verification requests and confirm your identity, as soon as possible, if you want to avoid potential blacklisting and flagging.

Thank You,

Mark R Hunter is a writer from Albion, IN, who has published columns for many years, as well as about a dozen fiction and non-fiction books.

I know Mark since years from his deviantArt account - https://ozma914.deviantart.com/ - and I brought him here to Steemit. I can vouch that @markrhunter is the original person and author of the here published texts.

Thanks anyway! Apparently they wanted more than what they told me they wanted.

Well, as much as I recognise the neccessety of fighting system abuse and plagiarism, I also have the feeling that some get carried away a little. Schoolyard marshall syndrom perhaps... :)

True, but they also have a point. There are an awfully lot of trolls, bullies, crooks, and abusers out there ... I suppose overreacting is better than underreacting.

Hello,

Thank you for your response.
I think that Mark Hunter can vouch for himself by following these guidelines on verification. He seems to be very active on Steemit, so I am sure that he would also find time to follow this simple and quick process.
We will give him a little bit more time.

Sir, yes Sir!

Well, you asked me to mention Steemit on WriterBeat and I did so, thus following your instructions ... I'm really not sure what else you want me to do. If it helps, here's the link:

I will go ahead and verify it. Sorry for the hassle its just with so many people joining there are a ton of people copying blogs from around the internet and trying to pass them off as their own.

I would hate to see someone stealing your material and trying to make a buck off it without your consent.

At least then somebody would be making a buck off of it! :-) But if you've got a lot more people joining, that's a good thing.
