I do not keep any soil plants in my home at this time so I won't contaminate and infest the hydroponic plants. If I did get pests I would have to remove all my plants, sterilize everything and start again, but that would be a loss for me. I currently have 6 heads of lettuce, 2 heads of kale, 2 basil plants, 2 arugula plants, 1 head of Bok Choi, various varieties of flowers and 2 very promising pepper plants - that's a lot to lose! And I'm ALWAYS HUNGRY!!! LOL!

Wow, you really are passionate about your hydroponics! Good for you. I'll have a go myself, just on a much smaller scale to begin with. This form of food harvesting will become mainstream in the next few years, when vegetables become more expensive to be commercially grown outdoors.
