HyperVerse DeFi is a smart money management platform with bank-level security. Around mid-January, we announced the HyperVerse refund program in this blog post and on the 20th of January 2023, the refund program officially kicked off.

           THE JOURNEY

The beginning of the journey for the refund program was quite rough, so rough that we had to wind down our telegram group so we could focus solely on the livechat support due to a shortage in support personnel, additionally the FUD in the group was so much that it would require atleast 5 fulltime admins to handle the group efficiently, rather than spending thousands monthly on support staff, we made the prudent decision of winding down the telegram group while we saved the money for the actual members who were affected by the exploit on our platform.           THE PROGRESS SO FAR

REGISTRATIONS: Since the refund program was officially kicked off in January 2023, it has been a roller coaster ride with instances of really spectacular highs and dizzying lows. On the first day of the refund program, we recorded about 1500 registrations and that number has steadily grown to over 17,000 registrations at the time of writing this article.

KYC SUBMISSIONS & APPROVALS: Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to achieve an ideal 100% KYC application rate, there are over a thousand registered members who has not initiated the KYC application process and while this is an ongoing process, we have seen huge improvements on this end when compared to the first month of the refund program.

Additionally, for those who has already initiated the process, there has been a huge success rate for members who submitted KYC requests, this is mainly due to our amazing in-house developed automated system, while we have encountered some brief issues with the system skipping a few applications, we have fixed those issues and the system has continued to work fine and on schedule

At the time when our last newsletter was written, the submitted KYC applications had an average of 70% approval rate but we are proud to announce that this number has increased to 85% with a majority of the remaining 15% being either spam/inaccurate requests.

30% VERIFICATION DEPOSIT: Around the time of our first newsletter, only about 10% of members who has completed the KYC process completed this last step, but we are proud to announce that currently, around the time when the program was launched, about 50% of registered members had completed this crucial next step and this number has steadily been on the rise, we fully understand the skepticism and difficulty people are facing and this is why we decided to keep this program open indefinitely or as long as it would take for the required funds to be fully disbursed.

           REFUND STATS
  1. About 10,000+ refund claims has successfully been disbursed and this figure represents about 95% of registered members who has made the required 30% deposit, at the time of writing this article, we have about 5% that were still being processed.

  2. We are proud to announce that we recently hit the $100,000,000 milestone for total amount disbursed since the refund program was commenced.

  3. Single largest refund amount that has been claimed by a member is $980,000, we’re hoping someone else beats this record!.
