Review of MorseGame ICO. ICO SCAM ALERT. MorseGame and Cryptollbooth CBT similarities.
This article will be short, because the MorseGame (and the Cryptollbooth) scam(s) doesn't require any deep analysis to tell, that these are scams with an extreme likelihood:
Both projects use the same awful ICO website template, the SAME team members (none of which is genuine)
For example, the screenshot from the Team section of the MorseGame website:
Alex Vicks uses the picture of a very well-known ICO adviser Vladimir Nikolaev: https://www.linkedin.com/in/icoadv/
John Stanford's picture is a clip art. It also provides a lead, since there are several people actively using pictures from the same set, such as Nicholasio
!
His telegram handler @nicholasios, a small scammer (I've got reports, that he was selling ICOBench expert reviews to ICOs, but wasn't able to deliver anything valuable and didn't refund ICOs) and a promoter working in the team with @genoway (the same telegram handler, https://twitter.com/genowayy ). There are obvious Russian roots of both of those projects. This pair don't deserve a separate article, but they are just one of many teams scamming ICOs for useless PPC campaigns and selling nonexistent services to them. Such as selling ICO Bench ratings, since none of top advisors would actually do it for their prices, since campaigns themselves bring x100 more revenue to anadvisor, than any fake rating on the ICOBench, and those guys have several if not 10s of them. Just from a logical standpoint no one there would risks the reputation for a couple ETH, other then guys with no reputation and no projects under advisory. Check out their BCT thread in Russian, where these two accounts show absolute affiliation:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3305672.msg35289854#msg35289854
And a cherry on the top: the contact email for all team members of MorseGame is [email protected]. You can research it on your own and you'll find out some interesting things. Making it simple, these guys are working in a grey area at best and they specialize in high risk segments.
And this is the CryptoToll. They have exactly the same names of team, but no photos and an extremely poor white paper.
And none of these people can be found or reached for a comment, none of them linked or disclosed any real social media accounts. No business registration data. Copycatted text, meaningless tokenomics, no business plan or financials. Simply nothing in either of those ICOs [campaigns] is good.
It doesn't take any audit or analytical skills to say these two projects are substandard and are very likely scams, but I still believe, that some clarification and this article are required to warn the general public.
Also, I upvote my upvoters and resteemersm when your comments make sense. Do not hesitate to share this article, if you like it.
Update about the Nicholasio. Now, since they changed telegram account to @mattsys . It is not clear, why they did that, but very likely they scammed someone and now are trying to get rid of those people (why would you do it anyway?).
Typo in the text: should be "Vladimir Nikitin" instead of "Vladimir Nikolaev".
MorseGame is Genuine.
Hi Crypto Visionary, I am Lim from MorseGame.net
First of all, thank you for taking time to review our website, the crypto world needs people like you, avoiding scams. Howerver making statements of MorseGame as scam was too early and is a WRONG assumption. Appreciate if you could remove your statement. Thank you.
Seems cryptollbooth and me hired the same web designer. Web designer promised us to be the only design. Looks like they are reusing it instead. We noted the risk and problems and we have made changes.
We have not launched our pre-ico as of today. We are launching pre-ico on 15th of June with very low price(super low price). We have not even finalized the price when you wrote this post. We did not start any marketing nor promotion. Website was not properly done yet, so we apologize if the details were incorrect. Vladimir photo was used as a template by the web designer in the advisors column. It was then edited because we put in our advisors. We will work on improvements continuously until end of ICO. The information in the team was incorrect when you review.
I came to know about this post when Nicolas Lebrun(8/5/18) told me about it. I did not recognize that was Vladimir Nikitin back then. Sydney Ifergan had discussion with me about this since 10/5/2018. Vladimir Nikitin and Sydney Ifergan are very famous ico advisors, you may contact them and ask them about the discussion between us. I apologized on behalf of the web designer and and Vladimir accepted it. I can show you proofs if anyone doubt about it. You may contact me by telegram @MorseGame for justifications. Just stated you need justification which chairman agreed. Alternatively, you may contact my linkedin, https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonathan-lim-3b6bb357/
Please help us to prevent Alzheimer’s. Please help us to help the needs. We are trying to help people to prevent Alzheimer’s and please help us instead of stopping us. There are many old folks in the old folks home that currently lost their interests in life, they will get Alzheimer’s easily. They need some excitement, communications and interests in life to move forward.
We would also like to thank you for bringing our brand to the public’s attention; you have given us an opportunity to justify.
