Looking back at the ICO launch
Last week, I didn't publish a blog post because the EZYcount ICO started. I'm going to look back on what happened. But before that, some news:
I'm proud to say that we are one of the 9 fintech startups selected by the accelerator Fintech Fusion in Geneva for their next program. Fusion will support us to grow faster and better and find financing.
A new article from us was published in a renown accounting publication. The title of the article is "Creative destruction and how blockchain ushers in the next phase of future growth". It has been published on "Global Accountant" - find it here.
ICO start
Last week, the whole team worked very hard to be ready for the ICO start on Saturday the 15th. I was very excited to finally launch EZYcount ICO to the public!
The technical team developed checkout pages for the different payments and delivery methods. The marketing and community management team prepared the press released and posts for our target social media channels. We also prepared emails for our customers and for people who subscribed to the ICO news on the ICO page.
We saw a lot of attention and purchases from our customers and from our fiduciary partners. I'm extremely thankful for your support. I think the EZYcount TaaL, the token representing life-long software licenses for EZYcount, is a very interesting proposition but not easy to understand. I thank personally every customer and partner who already participated in the token sale. I'm also looking forward to personally contact all of our customers in the next two weeks to show them the added value of owning one or many EZYcount TaaL licenses.
Moreover, we saw interest from a couple of large investors. I'm looking forward to continuing the discussion with them, making sure we reach the 2 Mio by the 15th of October.
The next weeks are not going to be easy. We will have a lot of work to do. However, we see that with your support and a little bit of luck, we will be successful and we will be able to deliver very shortly full automation of accounting for the self-employed.
If you are looking to see me or the team, you can come to Effinger in Bern on Tuesday from 16h to 18h or at the startupdays in Bern on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Have a great week!
Vivien, CEO EZYcount
