TRIWER - the future of delivery services
Delivery systems in e-commerce have gone a long way in the last couple of years. Having realized how important convenient delivery is to their customers, companies like Amazon have pioneered the space, trying to reach higher speeds and provide a wider range of options. Unfortunately, most other websites fall short from the quality of service that people nowadays come to expect, as what looks good on paper - doesn't always work out as expected.
In most cases, the infrastructure cannot handle the customers' demands. When ordering something online, there is always a chance of losing track of your package, no way to know the exact time of delivery, and very little can be customized in general. Coupled with an ever present mistrust and lack of transparency where online retailers are concerned, and you end up with a serviceable, yet unpleasant customer experience.
What can be done about it? That is the question that the team of Triwer have asked themselves, and after long years of planning and hard work they have brought us the answer. Triwer's application has been created by moving the delivery process to blockchain, thus implementing solutions to overcapacity, waste of space, high fees and overall inefficiency that has plagued the online retailer sphere for years.
The Triwer application offers four main features – receiver management CRM, capacity tender sorted by cost, advanced shipping and a blockchain-based platform to keep it all together. The technology itself is straightforward but clever. Smart contracts, situated on the main Ethereum blockchain, can be created between the buyer, the seller and the shipper, in any combination and with all the terms listed. Then all the additional details, like tracking, goods description, pricing, etc. will be stored on the side chain developed by Triwer for increased security, speed and diminished gas fees.
In order to run this ERC20 smart contract system, a digital currency is needed. That is why Triwer is issuing TRW cryptocurrency token, and commits to equipping each participant of the platform with a compatible wallet. To make the life of their users even easier, Triwer will also integrate a trustworthy crypto-exchange directly into their application, allowing to exchange fiat or other cryptocurrencies into TRW.
Let’s make the benefits a little clearer by looking into what exactly each user gets by joining Triwer:
Online merchants will be able to offer their clients the best price for delivery, attract clients who already use Triwer, shared multi-company promotion, introductory bonuses and a much higher customer satisfaction. The kind of experience that Triwer offers will be a perfect match for small and medium-sized retailers, who value a personal touch.
Transport companies will finally use their space efficiently, through filling their capacity during return travel and spare space, get more clients that are outside the biggest retailer chains, synergize with other logistics companies for better result for both. Tender price comparison module of the Triwer application will drive companies towards the best fitting delivery providers.
The end users of Triwer, those who just use it non-comercially, will have a personalized profile, based on which the most suitable delivery windows and pricing, real-time tracking, flexible destination changes and other options that have never been available to shoppers before. Online shops and social media will be the main driving forces behind the installation of the app and adoption of Triwer services.
There are many other features that Triwer plans to implement long after the launch of the platform. Please check out their roadmap and visit the official website for more info about the future of the company. They have a solid technical plan and a reliable revenue model. As stated in their whitepaper, capturing even one percent of the industry in Europe alone would yield around 40 million dollars revenue yearly, and this one percent is nothing compared to what the Triver team has in mind.
What do you think about blockchain powered delivery? What experience have you had with smaller retailer delivery?
