An Easy and Simple Trick to Resize your Images on Steemit
I was wondering how you can resize an image without the need to use an external editing program.
So, I started to research some steemit articles an stumbled upon this article https://steemit.com/steemit/@rossenpavlov/easy-resize-images-inside-the-steemit-editor which is an excellent article on how to resize an image made by @rossenpavlov.
However, steemit has its own server for you to upload your images now and you have to do a little trick to resize your images, as explained by @aology in the comments of the post cited above.
For that reason, i decided to make this post, so you can know how simple it is to do this on steemit editor in order to have the perfect size.
To make this trick works, you just need to add "https://img1.steemit.com/widthxheight" before "https://steemitimages.com/...", as shown below:

Can you see how easy it is to make this works? Piece of Cake! 🍰
I hope you use this amazing trick when posting. 👍
And if you really liked it you can: 😎
Thanks, I was JUST looking for something like this. I've just been resizing the originals, which is not ideal for my archiving purposes.
You're welcome.
omg, this actually works! for instance just paste:
https://img1.steemit.com/600x600/
before your image / TY !!!!!!!
(Getting rid of the name on your file after you add it, like "Family Pictures 101" might help make this clear too)
I think things have updated. The way I can get an image to resize is adding https://steemitimages.com/300x300 before a link to any image somewhere, where 300x300 can be whatever value. Thus the whole code would be: https://steemitimages.com/300x300/https://insertlink.
