Everything is shining. The people, the home, shops, the road, religious and recreation places are all shining in my country for the light of the world is born 

Due to the difference in calendar, we are in about to celebrate Christmas 12 days later than the rest of the world; annually on 7th of Jan

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace

Ethiopian Christmas which is locally called “Genna” will celebrate very colorfully with spiritual and cultural ceremonies by all Ethiopian Christian community living throughout the world. 

Today, Christmas eve; people goes to church to spend at least five hours of prayer and thanks giving; by which they remember the birth of our lord Jesus Christ.
