How Do We Sustain?

Within the last 2 months we have seen the value of steem plummet all the way to $.26 (current day). While the drop has lead to many members of the steemit community leaving and less people joining bots, Incinbot has been doing better than ever before!

Here's all the ways we make revenue

1. Power Downs

Over the last 7 months we have been slowly building up our personal sp, while powering down ever since we surpassed 100 sp. Currently we are at around 165sp, and it keeps growing. Each power down gets the bot approximately 12.8 steem a week. This is by far one of the biggest ways we make revenue.

2. Subscriptions

While this would generally be the biggest way we gain revenue, we have lately run dry on members. On average we make around 8-10 steem a week on subscriptions due to this.

3. Author Rewards

Author rewards is highly beneficial for the bot as we are able to average about 6-8 steem a week. Apart from that we also get 6-8 sp, which just builds our personal sp, allowing power downs to increase,

4. Selling Upvotes

Unfortunately we don't have enough members to use all our vp, so we sell upvotes on smartsteem. On average we make 5-6 steem per week from this.

In total, we make (on the higher end) 37 steem a week.

Costs

As a bot, we have many costs that need to be paid each week or month.

1. SP Leases

We spend 19.4 steem each week on sp leases. This covers majority of the sp we lease, with another 10-15 steem spent on leases per month.

2. Dev Fees

For each member that subscribes, 7.5% goes toward the dev. Apart from that, 7.5% of the power down also goes toward the developer.

3. Server Fees

While this is usually cheap, it is $6 in fiat. As of last this is really problematic with steem being so low, making the cost close to 22 steem a month.

Votefun + Discord Bots

All the bots that we run on the discord server also costs us .55 steem per week, or 2.2 steem a month.

In total we spend approximately 30.9 steem a week.

Profits

In total we make about 6-7 steem in profit a week, though this changes on a constant basis (This is with the costs being as high as it possibly can be).
