Pass rate decreased, GPA-5 increased
The pass rate decreased in the results of the secondary and equivalent examinations. But the rate of GPA-5 has increased.
This year pass rate is 77.77 percent. Last year was 80.35 percent. And 1 million 10 thousand 629 people got GPA-5. Last year was 1 lakh 4 thousand 761 people.
The information came out on Sunday when the Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid gave the results of the examination to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganobhaban.
Later, the Prime Minister released the results online, which will be available after 2pm. During this time the Board of different boards were present.
From 2am onwards, the education boards website as well as sms from any mobile, the results will be known.
Till the 1st February to 25th February, theses and subject of theoretical subjects were held.
The practical test begins on 26 February and ends March 4.
This year, a total of 2,06,31,888 examinees took part in 3,412 centers across the country. Of these, 10,23,212 students were students and 10 lakh 8 thousand 687 people.
