The mud should always be wet!

A man was travelling through a muddy road when his car got suddenly trapped in the pool of mud. He tried very hard to move but his car failed to come out of it.

Suddenly, he saw a villager coming toward him in his bullock cart.

Once the bullock cart came near, he requested him to pull his car out of mud. A deal of Rs 100 was negotiated between them for the work and the villager pulled the car using his bullocks.

The man felt greatly relieved and paid him the money.

He then asked the villager, “There may be so many cars that would be getting trapped in this mud.”

Villager: “True sir. You are the seventh person since morning whose car got trapped in this mud.”

Man: “Oh my God! Did you have to pull all of them.”

Villager: “Yes Sir.”

Man: “You must be busy full day pulling the cars from the mud having no time to do your own work.”

Villager: “Very True Sir. I have to do all my work in night only.”

Man: “Oh I see! By the way, what work you do in night.”

Villager: “I just ensure that this mud is never dry.”

If you have heard about the ongoing problems between India and Pakistan this story sums it up in the best possible way. On both sides of the border the politicians want the mud to be wet all the time. At a given moment if the other end is wants to build the road some person or the other will reject the proposal.

My roommate is from Pakistan and we have been living together for an over and year and on most things we agree most of the times and are almost like brothers, there is no difference between as at all. The differences in our cities is about 200 kms which is nothing and this is pretty evident from our cultures and belief systems.

The reason we have not united is the media and politicians and both sides of the border that don't want peace and are not ready to compromise. The negotiation is going to require a lot of compromises and neither side wants to let up.

The people on both sides of the border who are sane want nothing but peace and the ones who don't are the ones who are wither daft or are brainwashed by the media.

Media's modus operandi is so simple, we don't have anything to broadcast so let's exaggerate and get ratings. I thin if these two countries unite and have open borders like they should, peace could finally be achieved and prosperity and happiness of these countries of brotherly love can be maximized.

War is never the answer to anything, ask the people who lose their sons, fathers and husbands. Pray for peace!!!
