Karena, aceh tamiang merupakan salah satu daerah yg berbatasan langsung dengan Kabupaten Langkat dan berbudaya melayu layakny Kabupaten Langkat

Kalau di papua ada Papeda, Tamiang punya bubur pedas. Bubur pedas adalah nasi yang dimasak dengan santan kental dicampur dengan rempah dan diiris daun daunan serta berwarna kuning. Bubur ini menjadi menu khas yang paling sering dihidangkan kepada tamu tamu special dan sering dipertunjukkan kepada masyarakat daerah lainnya dalam kegiatan pargelaran budaya. Awalnya bubur ini merupakan kuliner warisan Raja Deli yang wajib dicicipi oleh raja selama Bulan Suci Ramadhan sejak Tahun 1909. Bubur pedas terdiri dari berbagai jenis bahan yang di olah. Berdasarkan sumber dari orang orang tua Tamiang, bubur ini mengandung 44 jenis tanaman sayuran dan rempah rempah, diantaranya daun bebuas, daun mangkok-mangkok , wortel, ubi, daun sekentut, daun jeruk, daun kunyit dan sebagainya. Mungkin akan timbul pertanyaan teman-teman bagaimana memperoleh bahan sebanyak itu?If in papua there Papeda, Tamiang have spicy porridge. Nah, ketika timbul pertanyaan apa yang menjadi perbedaan antara bubur pedas Kab. Langkat dan A.Tamiang? Jawabannya terdapat pada jumlah porsi beras yang digunakan.
