Some great Things you should know about Indonesia

Indonesia is the 4th largest country in the world just behind the united state, by population. While the area it covers is about the same size as the US, because it is a bunch of island the mountain of actual habitable land is a lot less than the US. It has a rich history and hundreds of unique cultures and Languages. There are some famous things that comes from Indonesia like

Coffee...

Coffee was introduced to Indonesia by Dutch Centuries ago. it initially built plantation in the island of java but today coffee is grown all over the world. Historical speaking, coffee was actually named after the port it was exported from, thus coffee form Java was called Java Coffee. Since the island of Java was such a prominent exporter of coffee eventually the term Java became synonymous for all types of coffee.

There are two 2 types of coffee that are famous in Indonesia which are Sumatra Coffee and Coffee Luwak.

Sumatra Coffee: it has been made famous by starbucks, it's from the island of samatra the large island of the western side of the country.

Coffee Luwak: it is made from the excrement of a cat like animal who eats the coffee berry and poops out the undigested coffee beans. Those beans and then collected, cleaned and roasted. It's produces mostly on the samatra Island, Java, Bali and Sulawesi and it's the most expensive coffee in the world.
