Aceh - In the world, Indonesia is known as the third largest cocoa producer (cocoa). Data from Statistics of Plantation Indonesia, in 2013 recorded 1,677,254 ha of land cultivated cocoa. One of the areas planted with cocoa is Aceh.
Tampui is one of the largest chocolate-producing villages in Pidie Jaya District, Aceh Province. In a village located 175 KM from Banda Aceh or about 4 hours drive by land this, in one hectare can produce 8 tons of cocoa beans in two weeks.
