The fast-food restaurant management, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), is rumored to have got input so as not to replace its chicken delivery partners to cheaper services following the closing of hundreds of outlets in the UK due to chicken shortages.

This problem arose at the end of last week after KFC shifted its shipping contacts to DHL, forcing about 900 of its outlets in the UK to close. The number of outlets closed reach 640 outlets. This amount is increased after the open booth about 338 outlets to 254 on Tuesday afternoon local time.

United GMB, as reported by the Guardian, said it had delivered this when the manajamen KFC said it would replace chicken suppliers from Bidvest Logitics to DHL in October.

"We have written this issue to the KFC management a few months ago," said Mick Rix, a GMB union official, who is a labor-intensive agency with about 631,000 members in all industry sectors, according to the Guardian, Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

On its website, KFC management also said it can not compromise quality. That way, the absence of fresh chicken delivery means some closed outlets and some outlets only sell certain menus or shorten the hours of operation.
Meanwhile, DHL blames the problem of late delivery due to operational constraints.

"We are working with KFC UK and our partners to address this situation and make this a priority We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this problem," explains DHL management.
