Here is the science behind CBD and THC oils; and the herbal benefits that they both offer.

in #informationwar6 years ago

We have all met the guy that has used too much, and we wouldn't want our daughter dating; claiming that pot is good for you. Knee jerk reaction is to tune him out and go on with our lives. But today, there is good science behind Oils from this plant family being very medically helpful.

Here is an Herbologist I have found to be accurate every time:
https://draxe.com/cbd-vs-thc/?utm_source=promotional&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20190309_week10_curated_product_cdl

He discusses the system that is already in your body in this article:

When scientists started studying the beneficial effects of cannabis, specifically those of THC, they discovered a biochemical communication system in the body — now called the endocannabinoid system. We are just beginning to understand this body system and already it’s believed to be one of the most important physiological systems involved in maintaining our health. It plays a role in maintaining homeostasis, ensuring that the body has a stable and well-functioning internal environment.

It seems that the guy we dismissed so quickly, seems to have some real science backing him now....

CBD oil has most of herbal benefits that THC has, less The psychotropics the THC oil contains. CBD oil is legal to purchase, because it contains less than 0.3% of the psychoactive substances in THC oil. As a result, it is legal (though regulated) o grow Hemp now, since President Trump signed this into law last year! Production of CBD oil is sky-rocketing today, and the cost is sky-rocketing too. Several years ago, CBD oil was $20 a pint, today it is $32 an ounce! So, while the health benefits have not increased the ability to help with health, the popularity has forced the price very High.

According to Professionals, CBD oils reduce the effects of psychotropic effects of THCs. So it is not just safe to use, it can actually protect you from the effects of THC! As explained here:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5741114/

For those who are bothered by hemp, in any form, there are some other sources of endocannabinoid active compounds:
https://draxe.com/herbs-superfoods-with-cannabinoids/

Some of these are super-foods, and I use lavender oil myself for burn treatment. We have learned a lot already, but we are finally learning to ask the right questions! But the one thing that is sure, is that we will be seeing More of Both oils in the near future.

Howdy sir smithlabs! very interesting post here. This explains some questions I had. The releasing of restrictions on growing hemp was not for medicinal purposes was it?

I liked it myself. Hemp was for CBD oil, which is herbal medicine....

:)>

sir smithlabs! yeah but there are all kinds of commercial uses for the plant, not the oil, right? Like it's super strong so it makes great ropes, fabrics, insulation, etc. industrial uses.

It does have other uses but right now with the envogue of the CBD oil almost all of its going to CBD oil production. These other markets are going to take a while to develop anyway larger crops will be needed. But it does make good ropes. I don't know about the insulation, I know the Fabrics are supposed to be great.

I've heard it makes good paper also.

:)>

yeah the problem is you heard alot of thiings but don't know alot of things except you got big feet.

Mine are runt feet, not even grown yet. Only size 12....

But a lot of people seem to be worshipping the mighty hemp. I do not care one way or another. If it is better in the marketplace, fine. If not, that is fine too. It is always hard to bring a new industry into teh black especially when there are existing products doing that job.....

CBD oil will be in demand fr the next 5 years, then we will see.

:)>

Well it sounds like a great cash crop but I don't know what it takes to grow it, probably lots of water.
What's the 5 year number? You think the boom will last 5 years or is that a question.

Fads usually loose gas in five years. A few that actually see help will contiunue buying it, but the rest will move on to the next fad.

I am one of the herbalist type that will remain if I see benefit.

Lots of good science in this! I liked it a lot myself.
