Leftist Propaganda and Amazon Forest Fires
When even Mother Jones "news" acknowledges the media is using fake pictures to push a propaganda point, the left has pushed too far to the absurd in their informationwar.
A fake pic pushed by Hollywierd and leftist mouthpiece Leotardo DiCaprio
Are the fires as bad as the left states?

ZeroHedge goes on to note:
As for the total number of active wildfires, they're also nowhere near some of the highs recorded in recent years.
This is supported by another leftist house organ, the BBC
the data suggests that Brazil - and the wider Amazon region - may have experienced more intense burning in the past.
Reason magazine notes that it is areas that have already been deforested that are burning.
This particular misinformation campaign has been ongoing this year, as this NPR hit piece demonstrates:
Brazil's Amazon Rainforest Is Disappearing Under President Jair Bolsonaro; check out the suggestive and partisan use of language.
In fact, for a lesson in negative image shaping, check out most of the ministry of truth's headlines with this search:
"brazil amazon new laws bolsanaro"
Why the lie?
Under this proclaimed "emergency", the G7 has made some moves; the statement by French poodle Macron sheds light on one possible motive:
The French president even wondered about the advisability of conferring an international status on the Amazon rainforest, in case the leaders of the region take decisions harmful to the planet.
The NGOs may also have a nefarious part to play in Macron's posturing:
- A couple of years ago Brazil passed new laws regarding bio-piracy in the Amazon
- Big Pharma would need to pay a lot more AND give Brazil access to the copyrights, allowing them to make generics
- Big Pharma funded many NGOs to go into the Amazon and avoid biopiracy protections; see this case of an NGO involved in this type of "fox guarding henhouse" situation
- Bolsanaro gets to power and cracks down on NGOs, by removing funding, removing their status as an NGO and not giving permits. See Bolsonaro presidential decree grants sweeping powers over NGOs in Brazil
You will notice that a Google search to document these issues turns up anti-Bolsanaro propaganda, as noted above.
Another way of describing this would be in /pol's typical charming language...
former commie government used to give loads of money to NGOs which 'monitor' the rainforest
actually spent most of their time dicking around at conferences and dinners and business class flights around Europe, while drawing fat salaries
Bolsnaro is elected, tells NGOs fuck off, no more gibs for this shit
the annual burn is actually not as bad this year as it usually is during dry season
NGOs start a huge chimp out because they want their gibs back
The summary
This is yet another in a long line of leftist/globalist/media "Two Minute Hates"; the main purpose seems to be to increase the level of glablsit control over Amazon's resources through NGOs. However, Bolsanaro's insults of Macron's dried out and infertile wife cannot be discounted as personal motives, as well.
