Large Asteroid to Fly by The Earth in April 2020
Lately, I have been dabbling a bit in astronomy. Something that has sort of caught my interest in the past few months.
I can not explain why I am so interested in space, or at least events that are coming in the near future that could mean something if you appreciate watching such events.
According to NASA, an asteroid called 52768 (1998 OR2) first discovered back in 1998,
Will pass within 3,908,791 miles of Earth, moving at 19,461 miles per hour.
The flyby is expected to occur on Wednesday, April 29, at 4:56 a.m. ET, according to NASA's Center for Near-Earth Object Studies. They track Near-Earth Objects that could collide with Earth.
The asteroid was classified as a potentially hazardous object because it passes near Earth's orbit, but it's not currently on NASA's list of potential future Earth impact events. Those are gathered and monitored by NASA's Sentry System, "a highly automated collision monitoring system that continually scans the most current asteroid catalog for possibilities of future impact with Earth over the next 100 years."
It's the largest asteroid expected to race by Earth within the next two months, but it's not the largest ever.

asteroid belt pool games? one asteroid that could come from the sun, ie having an orbit or trajectory making it "from the sun", is I guess still invisible? but how to achieve a pull out of this gravity field? lot of energy...
i guess the locusts swarm will survive a yuge hit... but not a LEE.
and following the story of the star eaters? those star vanished from the galaxy... where have they gone?
there are a lot of stars just in this galaxy... now the little AI challenge to know the relative position of each asteroid bigger than a molecule of water in the whole galaxy? eheheheh... in 24 hours :). will the prediction from the simulation match reality? how to know it but to wait...
I totally agree, one hundred percent. It just seems a little alarming. In my honest opinion.
when in the path of a supernova "explosion" so be it... :). it's more the tyranny of the cleptocrat child raping technocratic child rapist aristocracy that is our biggest problem, at least we can easily stop them, if we wanted...
love the tag #close-calls. Not sure if I'm ready for any more of them to be honest.
Well by looking at the video in my post you can see there are a lot of near-earth objects inside the solar system. pretty interesting honestly
