"NeonDemon"

Part 2 of the INNER DEMONS series.

Comparing it to drug addiction might be useful, when we think about chasing and acquiring, suddenly being without again, and repeating a certain cycle of behavior over and over, often to our detriment.
Many of us are utterly enamored with sensuality and chasing pleasure to some degree.. I'm sure almost all of us can think of some times we've done some less-than-wholesome things in the pursuit of feeling good, and probably some times where people have gotten hurt in the course of it, emotionally or otherwise.
Then we get what we were chasing, maybe, but even if there isn't a sense that it isn't quite as excellent as you thought it would be (or as it was the first time you experienced it).. it goes away.. Whatever is giving you that sensual pleasure walks away, falls apart or breaks, or dies, or otherwise vanishes..
If we really look at our lives, almost all we're doing is chasing good feelings/experiences. Nice touches and tastes and sights and even ideas.
But it's all impermanent, and can quickly become dissatisfying.
It can be difficult to stop living & thinking that way, as getting over any addiction can be.. It's sorta all we know at the time, and much of the Buddhist practice is really about finding a happiness that's independent of 'stuff' and external pleasures.. of pleasing sights and sounds and ideas... and instead, reaching a sense of contentment & joy that doesn't require any particular conditions to arise.

***If you're interested in purchasing a limited edition print of this. I have 12x18 lustre prints available on my website! They are a limited series of 44 editions. I also have holographic stickers and dab mats of this design as well! Much love!

Nice post and this is about your art you put a name, 'NeonDemon,' and you have a nice article there. You have written about your feelings as a young person and you should take care and love your family because they are the ones who are there for you. You should go to your family if you have problems. You should go to a counselor at school if you have problems and you can talk to them. You can talk to your church friends if there's some problems that came into your life and they will listen to you.
