Isreal holy God is great and his lives among is people .

The Psalmist says. I was glad when they said to me,let us go the house of the Lord _
(PS.122:1) The Israelite in the wilderness experienced the presence of God in the pillar of cloud during the day and pillar of fire during the night.God 's presence with his people was manifested in these signs.God also manifested His presence in the ark of the covenant in which were mounted two winged creatures.Whenever the Israelites took it to war in holiness the Lord's power and greatness was manifested. Jesus assures that He shall be with His followers
all through the end time (Matt.28:20)
Beloved,there is authority and power in the prayer of agreement.Jesus statement point to the principle of synergism in the realm of faith and prayer.That means that the united action of two or more persons harmoniously working together have the great total effect than the sum of individual effort.The Psalmist says,"How very good and pleased it is when kindred live together in unity it is like the precious oil on the head,running upon the beard of Aaron..."(Psalm 133:1-3) _Whenever this situation exist,Jesus
promise two positive results:(1)The father takes action in heaven on their request.(Matt 18:19) and (2)The presence of Jesus will be in their midst on earth.
Today,brethren gather but not in Harmony harbouring the spirit of hate and resentment in their hearts.As a result,nothing happens despite the shouts and all manners of gesticulation of prayers.The Trinity is not for present,the atmosphere is sinful and dry.This is tragedy of our modern day churches and lay communities.Jesus promised to be with us but pretense,wickedness and unrepentance have made it impossible.Today,the Holy spirit urges us, all Christ faithful to eschew all forms of wicked and pretentious attitude;if we desire the manifestations of God's power in our midst as we gather for mass or fellowship.

Prayer points

•pray with prophet Jeremiah,

Lord, you are in our midst we are called by your name;do not desert us O Lord our God.

(Jer.14:19).Pray with the Psalmist,"One thing I ask of the lord, one thing I seek-that I may dwell in his house all the days of my life to gaze at his beauty and seek counsel in his sanctuary

•Father grant us the grace of holiness of life and fear of you in the name of Jesus

•Father,look with pity upon all Christ faithful who filled with evil spirit of hate and resentment,save them I God in Jesus name.

•Take seriously: Lord,grant me the favour and blessings due to me as I serve you with my whole heart
