INSTAGRAM HAS ALSO THE COAST IN THE ARNAQUEURS
Kati Ringer used pictures of babies shared by on Instagram to mount a lucrative online scam. Fortunately, the authorities finally realized the deception.
Kati is a native of Norwich, a British city located in Norfolk County and therefore in the eastern part of the territory. Very connected, it is present on most social platforms of the moment and notably on the unavoidable Instagram.

She did not just connect to the service to share pictures or to discover images captured by her friends.
She used the photos of babies and children found on Instagram to mount scams online
Kati actually used it in order to mount a nice online scam.
She scoured the platform to take pictures of children or newborns and then launched fundraising campaigns on different platforms to raise funds.
To attract the support of Internet users, she claimed to be the mother of these children, children supposed to be dead or seriously ill.
Through these campaigns she was able to collect several thousand pounds, but the mother of one of these children eventually came across the announcement and she contacted him and asked her to stop her activities immediately.
Kati evidently refused and she began to threaten the woman with the worst atrocities if she went to see the police. In particular, she told him that she would violate her and that she would take away her child if she came to file a complaint.
She was not in her first business
The legitimate mother did not let herself go, however, and she immediately went to the police to file a complaint. The British authorities opened an investigation in the wake and they quickly found the identity and address of the scammer. By consulting their files, the investigators were surprised to find that Kati was not at its first blow and that it had been condemned in 2015 for about twenty similar offenses.
The woman's lawyer said that Kati was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and personality disorder, all with a zest of depression. The case will be judged on October 3, but the scammer may have trouble escaping prison given the seriousness of the facts and the nature of the recidivism
