RE: Introducing the Interfecto Upvote Bot

in #interfecto6 years ago (edited)

oh @interfecto, is there a maximum post age or anything else i should be aware of ?

the way i see it :) --> smartsteem already can provide a load of votes and they're useful BECAUSE they don't leave a message, but your is useful for advertising mine just because it DOES :) its something new then plus i can add a specific number of real outside votes to stresstest @goldmanmorgan specifically ...

that sounds great, i'll see what it does :p

Sort:

No maximum post age (except for the 7 days restriction imposed by the Blockchain) and no blacklist - since this bot is for promotion and not for ROI these measures are not necessary :)

i like that ... next-gen people who don't work under the steemcleaner cartel is what we need here, a lot more of them
thanks for answering , and fast too lol
wish you the best, prices arent really what they could be, as someone recently said to me " i dont think they have a marketing department upthere " :p

@steemcleaners is not so bad after all and in my opinion needed to keep the few original content creators who create valuable content on Steem on the platform, but there are certainly things to criticize - why do they flag small accounts but let big stakeholders like zer0hedge and berniesanders get away with the same type of plagiarized/short posts for reward farming? Seeing this unequal treatment puts many new users off, also, Steem has the potential to be far more than the platform for original content it is now. There is value in sharing content! Dmania was good until everyone started complaining about how "plagiarized" memes earned more than original content and then they only upvoted boring original memes. I prefer a meme reposted from reddit or 9gag that makes me laugh over a boring original meme..

Imagine how awesome it would be if you could post any content with a source and the original author would automatically be set as beneficiary if the source account (reddit/instagram/medium/..) or source website is linked (verified) to an existing Steem account and if not, the beneficiary would be a trustee account for example managed by steemcleaners - instead of flagging shared content and putting off new users this would encourage original authors to create a Steem account to claim their pending rewards and in the end everyone would profit: Users get rewards for sharing good content instead of being flagged by steemcleaners, the original author gets rewards and Steem gets more good content that attracts new users
