New to Steemit and Fully Dedicated to Contributing

in #introduce7 years ago

Hello Steem Community,

Thank you so much for existing!

I joined about a month ago but was busy building an Ether mining rig so I couldn't find the time to engage in the learning curve associated with this new social media site. Now that I have two machines up and running I am ready to indulge and engage here.

The fact that all contributions made here are rewarded in some way will have a revolutionary impact on how money is created, distributed and used. This is the way money was meant to work, it's meant to be created to be SPENT into an economy rather than LOANED into an economy. I learned of how backwards our current monetary structures are by reading 'The Lost Science of Money' written by the recently deceased, Stephen Zarlenga. He wanted everyone in the world to read it so he made sure the PDF's are easy to find online, you can read or download it here if you are interested in where money actually came from (not the barter myth) and why it's been mystified to the masses. https://murdercube.com/files/Money/Lost%20Science%20of%20Money/Lost%20Science%20of%20Money.pdf

So excited that I can now contribute my ideas and actually see a return in real time for my efforts. On the legacy social media sites I found great success in getting people to take action as far as sharing posts, commenting to provide feedback and to even start campaigns themselves. The problems we ran into were having many of our posts reach limited audiences and people not having the time to invest into sharing and commenting on content.

The way this is set up with the Steem Power, Steem Dollars and Steem really helps me understand how we can design Decentralized Automated Systems that we can use to actually connect with things in the real world.

I'm an Arborist by trade and learning how computers work is new to me. I understand that in order for us to have a fair world we need to start automating our monetary systems and be sure we are not putting any power into the hands of individuals or groups.

I have an idea on how to incentivize people to indulge in their interests, pursue their passions and to be stewards of the Earth and all of it's inhabitants. A group of people here in Phoenix, AZ are helping to write up the white paper and we are looking for people to help develop and test. We are starting to believe that Steem may be the best place to get a project like this up and running.

Please reach out to me if you have and ideas on how to make this happen. In the meantime I am totally consumed in the world of learning code, messing with tokens on the Ethereum test networks and even learning how to create augmented reality as well as touching on some machine learning through some registered online courses.

Looking foward to hearing from some of you folks!
