Look, I like to think I run a pretty tight ship over here....

Not only have I used the words steemit and blockchain in actual sentences but I've also shared deeply personal life experiences... and the feedback HAS been overwhelmingly positive. Unfortunately my ability to entertain on here seems to be capped at 5-6 humans per post (and a few friendly bots). So where the heck is the stage? I've got swords to swallow, glass to walk on, fire to eat , spin and breathe all over the place but you better bet I won't risk my life for anything less than a crowd of at least a dozen. I'm also not going to have $.01 sitting next to videos of my beautiful burlesque dancing friends either (and is Dtube all choppy and filled with broken links for anyone else or is it just me?). I will still upload content, for sure.. it's just going to be... different...

Being An Optomist

Now, this COULD be my fault! I certainly haven't put in the nearly countless hours of scrolling and refreshing the battle worn veterans put in during the great battle of crypto independence. I haven't used this pic in every blog

but... if you're getting enough of that elsewhere on the site, maybe check out some of my old posts and follow to be informed of new ones... better yet... just stalk me... it's likely the only way to get access to all the awesome.

Let me know in the comments if it's my content!

I would be SOOO embarassed if I was barraging you all with things you have absolutely NO interest in. I have considered the fact that I may not have "read the crowd" right upon joining this space Good news though!!! It's not like I'm "out of ideas"!! On the contrary I could pivot the direction of this channel in a heartbeat to literally anything! For example, pursuing my long forgotten aspirations to be a foot model...

... But in order for me to know if that is a wise direction, I need feedback... just a simple "hell yea, do the foot thing" or "nah, we're good on feet thanks" would be quite helpful and appreciated!

Thank you for your eyeballs.

If you read this far hopefully you can understand my plight over here and toss a minnow a mention at your next meeting of all the super cool and popular kids. Till next time, peace and love!

Hey man. A few things.

  • Consistency is key
Post post post. Once a day if you can.Dont pay attention to payout yet. Make it as quality as possible.
  • Network.
This is a social network, more so than simply posting content and walking away, you gotta interact with people. Find those of similar interests, leave THEM feedback. Steemit.chat and discord have great communities to be active in. Your friends will always be your most consistent voters.

Don't give up. All it takes is 1 or 2 big users to enjoy your content and give you the traction you want.

Comments and gratuities welcome and appreciated!

I saw the flames and curiosity got the best of me. Every time I get on steemit I try to watch my feed for a minute or two and make a conscious effort to comment and upvote on a name that do not recognize. I have been on steemit for about 2 weeks an have followed a ton of people without really looking a who it is that I am following. Tonight I saw your pic of a flame thrower and thought to myself, thats pretty cool. I went to your blog and scrolled through to see if you were a real human being or a robot and determined that you must be real. As for the feet post here with the see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil I have to say, it is unique. From all of the other posts that I have read it takes time to build an audience. I would encourage you to keep posting and fan the flames of your fire. Glad you are on steemit.

Thank you! I joined sometime last year and had tried to be very active during the first couple months but eventually I got distracted and I dropped offline for awhile... it's pretty hard to make a comeback when you were never on the top to begin with... anyway I'd like to grow things here, it beats being on facebook and I can really see dtube being huge in the future. It's good to see alternatives to the controlling internet giants.
