My First Steemit Post

Hello, my name is Zaire (Zi-ear).

I am a 23 year old student at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville pursing an English degree. My friend recently told me about Steemit and I immediately joined the community to not only further develop my writing skills, but also to network and meet new people!

I am originally from sunny Los Angeles, California but moved to Nashville, Tennessee with my mother and two sisters at a young age. My mom, Page Turner, is owner of EGAP Real Estate and co-host on HGTV's Flip or Flop Nashville!

Although I am receiving my bachelors in English, last summer I got my real estate license and plan to follow my mother's footsteps. My two younger sisters are twins and are also attending universities. My father unfortunately was never a father to my sisters and I, however I have no bad blood for the man (or lack thereof).

I hope this experience will uncover my purpose in life through my writing, and open opportunities in this field. From poems to research, I plan on posting a variety of content which will reflect my likes and dislikes. I am here to learn and am excited for you all to watch me grow.
