Here Is My Common Tater Take
I know, I have gained weight. Haven't been able to ride my road bike for 9 months since my shoulder got messed up. Finally had surgery and soon I will be off to work. Still feels too sore to ride, hopefully it will be better so I can get back in the saddle again.
Got to love Steemit. This is a very different venture than I have ever tried. Not very savvy about much, especially when it comes to being at the right place at the right time. I just figure you have to get much more aggressive about things than ever before.
This is the very first time I have ever tried to get a residual income that is more my style - very little risk without the silly hoopla of going to pyramid training type classes. It can't hurt so I figure I will go for it. Commodities are commodities, even the best of the best ' broke er age' firms mess up with their advise, everything is a gamble.
Just as my occupation is beneficial, I found out how easily it is to have a nightmare of not being able to perform the physical tasks that I do daily. Running a machine shop is dangerous and you have to know what you are doing.
On the other hand I tried to rent part of my house to a tenant. That was the absolute worst thing I did in my entire life, I hope I live to regret that horrible mistake. I thought because I did background checks, and so forth it would at least help me financially. Instead I found an elderly person, who decided to make my home his retirement haven without trying to get a job, drank, and I am stupid enough to have tried to keep him off the streets. It never dawned on me someone would not do their part - even just a little. Instead this turned into admitting him into the hospital for a blocked colon and supporting him for two years now. It has been hard but I finally got him to quit drinking and smoking, God willing, this nightmare is almost over and he can land a job soon or get social security and SCRAM.
Watch out for trying these bad investments. I never would have taken a renter, but I had a Plant Manager that threatened my job. Glad that the General Manager did not agree with his point of view, he even demoted him. The only reason they let him keep his job was because he was dying of prostrate cancer. He did pass away.
In conclusion I am happy to give Steemit a shot, hopefully even someone as stupid as I am can benefit .
hello @holdilocks welcome to steemit 😊
Thank you, I appreciate your warm welcome. I was hoping the next time I took a picture would be after my menopause was over.
Welcome @holdilocks your renter story is not an uncommon one as far as things going wrong. I wish you much success on steemit, nice to see more women getting involved in cryptocurrency!
Thank you so much. You are right I have ran into a few people with similar issues. It is a surprising trend. I hope as a team all of us do well, and I wish you much success back also. It looks to me women will catch on, it just takes a bit more time to get started than an average homemaker has. They just need to be aware of this site. Hopefully I can help raise awareness with my connections.
A big warm Steemit welcome goes out to you Holdilocks. Upvoted and Followed.
