What does a hard drive do?

Storage is the hard drive’s responsibility. Everything you keep on your computer is on a hard drive. Not just documents, pictures, music and videos. Your programs, your preferences, even your operating system; they are all stored on your computer’s hard drive.
When the hard drive on your computer is damaged, you lose all your documents which is the sad truth of it, so that is why most people have a backup system....They get another hard drive and copy all their important files into it.
And everything that can be saved on a hard drive is measured in size.
A hard drive is like a scale, it doesn’t know the difference between things that are on it, only the size of kilograms, megabytes (MB), gigabytes (GB) and terabytes (TB.)

So the best and durable hard disk drive you can get is "Seagate" HDD because if you need to transfer files between computers or a drive to backup some of your files, you can get a 500gb HDD but if you want to back up your entire computer documents/files or if you store a lot of video and audio files, you will want a larger drive like 1tb, which works perfectly on a PC or a Mac more than the other HDD models.
So am using this medium to advise us to always embed the habit of using external hard drives coz it helps and most especially self guide and delivers users from heart break when there system crashes or hdd malfunction.
