Hello from india! I am Yash Yadav!

Hello steemers!

I see people like to start with introduction. I don't remember introducing myself on any of the social network I've been on. It's great over here, gives a headstart with topic to start with.

So, I am Yash Yadav, a 19 years old computer science student from India.

That beautiful flowerlike piece of architecture in the picture is the lotus temple, located in New Delhi, India.

I do not have a past of being a writer or a speaker, nor is my native language english, but I'm looking out to change that. I have started reading recently and I find it all very fascinating. So I'm interested in stepping into this world of bloggers (Oh, how much I think blogging is a separate field and not a hobby thing people do along with their work, haha).
Starting off as a beginner writer I cannot tell what am I gonna post about. Could post anything I find interesting I see in real life, may be my opinions over news, or perhaps something computer programming related.. I have no idea as of now, I'll figure it out after I observe what the community here likes and whats revolving around.

I came to know about steemit from @tmaniac, through his telegram channel with the same ID.

Oh, and this name so much makes me think of the digital games distribution platform, steam. Thinking of one reminds of the other now. What's more is I often forget that the word was originally made to express 'evaporated water', haha.

Alright, off I go now. End of my first steemit post. :)
The registration mail had within it mentioned that steemit has just started recently, if that's true, it's great. Feels more home when you join something in the beginning stages.
