It depends on what your interests are. Of course, I hope you begin by following me :) I post an article every 3 days in addition to daily posts. The articles get a lot of attention so if you vote on them early you have a pretty good chance of getting a curation reward.
There are also a lot of big authors on Steemit, also known as "whales". If you vote on their content about 30 minutes after it is published then you may receive some rewards. The trouble is since they are so large many other people are also trying that strategy. As a result, I haven't had much luck with voting on whales.
