Hello all! Taking my first step into the Steemit community :)

Hey there Steemians ❤︎

Welcome to my first post on Steemit! Before I take you all for a ride into my life, I'd love for you to get to know the girl behind the red lipstick.

Who am I, you ask?
I am a 22 year old (soon to be 23 on August 17th...Yay Leo's!), graduate from the University of Georgia. I graduated with a bachelor's in psychology yet I am doing absolutely nothing with that degree so far, but we will get into more of that later 😏 (I promise it's good). I am a born & raised Georgia gal with an obsession for anything that walks on four legs and has fur.
I could sit here all night and give you all 20-30 characteristics that describe who I am, but all you need to know for now is that I am the type of person who just tries to find the beauty in life. It's a way I try to LIVE. Whether it's through personal relationships, my hobbies, my way of thinking, the way I try to carry myself, or just how I view things in the world. Everyday there's doom and gloom all around us and unfortunately I feel like sometimes we build such a negative perception of ourselves, of others, and of everything that goes on in the world because of how bombarded we get from hearing and seeing it all on social media. I don't want to fall into that dark hole that makes use lose sight of the good in life. I am not perfect in any way possible, but I have this "ideal" self I like to believe is inside me somewhere. As I grow up, I work to bring her out more and more every day. And I am not talking about a perfect me who looks perfect, walks perfect, smells perfect, blah blah blah... I am talking about someone who I strive to be. Ambitious, healthy, kind, active, hopeful, confident, grateful, and aware of what should be important in life. I just try live Beautifully. (Fun fact: The word, "Beautiful" is tattooed near my ribs.) ✌️😉

One more thing. I have a weird fascination with the moon. According to the Urban Dictionary, I believe I am considered a "Selenophile" [se・le・no・phile]. It's weird, but whatever. So am I.

What do I have to bring to the table?
Well Steemians, I have a passion for A LOT of things: food, animals, photography, travel, design, fashion, makeup, Netflix, yoga, nature, and about 100 more things. I'll be posting a good variety of stuff that will hopefully spark the interest of people of any gender, age, religion, soda preference, etc.
OH..I'll also be traveling to Hawaii in a week so thats pretty cool, huh? Tons of beautiful pictures on the way 🌸
