Introduce Your Hometown: Helsinki (Finland)

This is about Helsinki which of course is main city of Finland (Located in Scandinavia) :) (my hometown!)

--- # Part 1 ---

Lets start with the first place, which is going to be Rautatientori - this is the main central station of Helsinki. I just grabbed this picture during the rush hour around 4-5 pm. As u can see people are quite busy and using the public VR trains, in this particular platform they are using commuter trains.

On the background you can see new office buildings and even behind that in the middle lies "Eduskuntatalo" which is the Parliament of Finland.



In the next picture you can see "Kaisaniemenpuisto" which is a place right next to this trainstation. This park is famous

Kaisaniemenlahti.. Here we can see someone's own planting.


Next we have "Eläintarhanlahti" which is also quite near the station. There's a restaurant called Meripaviljonki, still need to test that place some day!

And finally this is the park near by.

--- # Part 2 ---

Here in this next image there's Helsingin Kaupunginteatteri, where u can see different sort of theater performances. It operates as popular bilingual repertoire theatre and is located in Kallio.

If you would like to see a finnish type of theater performances this is the best place to go. I've been there even performing myself with a Circus crowd and playing guitar with a band. It's bigger inside that what it appears to be from the out.

This place is called Diakonissalaitos with its old buildins and services, also in Kallio.

In locations like Hakaniemi or in Kamppi, you can find this shop called Ruohonjuuri, which is organic products shop. They sell wide range of different green products and is probably the most well known shop like this in Helsinki. (this picture is taken from Kamppi store)

Here's a bit older picture. This store is also in Hakaniemi called Elanto and is one of the cheapest ones there! It's been there for very long time.

--- # Part 3 ---

I took this picture back then when they we're still constructing Clarion Hotel Helsinki. This hotel is a big one and is located in newer place they constructed called Jätkäsaari.

Even Casey Neistat was visiting this place in his helsinki vlog post.

This image is right next to "Verkkokauppa". It's actually the biggest Electronics shop space in whole Europe. I'll make a seprate blog post about Verkkokauppa someday.

This image is near by from Länsisatama. Where is other hotel called Radisson Blu Seaside.
