The Tool That Will Change The World

My name is Romano, really excited to be part of the Steem nation, I'm relatively new to the crypto space but I've been learning fast over the last few weeks. I've recently been buying Pivx, Ubiq and of course, Steem through Bittrex and also have an account at Genisis mining.

I'm really excited to be in the crypto space at the moment, there is soooo much going on right now with new ICOs virtually every day of the week to solve some of the world biggest problems (but beware of the scammers). I truly believe that blockchain will be revolutionary for the human race and will be the tool that will help us bring an end to world poverty, however... We have to be careful to protect it from those who wish to corrupt it for their own gain. I'm talking about the institutions which have been controlling the world and the human race for centuries, the very same institutions which blockchain threatens to disrupt. I'm talking about the corrupt banks and governments of the world.

These institutions are scared of what blockchain means to them, the fact that it will remove the control that banks have over society and the human race, setting them free from constraints imposed on them for the privilege of the few has them scared. Corrupt governments know that blockchain will bring an end to their corrupt ways, they will no longer be able to hide their abuses of power, and the thievery from state coffers, from the citizens who put them in power. Governments will no longer be able to dump weapons into conflict zones without a trace. Blockchain, my friends, will change the world!

Yes, blockchain is still in its infancy, its where the internet was in 1990. There is still allot of work that needs to be done before we reach the utopian vision of a fairer and equal world, but with blockchain, we finally have the tools. Just as we are currently fighting a battle for net neutrality and the future of an internet not controlled and manipulated by states and corporations, I believe we will one day (very soon) be fighting those same institutions for the future freedom of blockchain, the biggest threat they will face to their current existence. The governments and corporations which embrace blockchain will be the ones that survive and thrive in the new digital world.

When the day comes, we all must be prepared to defend the blockchain to ensure we build a better, fairer world for everyone
