Happy days ahead....in the new world of Steemit!

Hello fellow steemians!! I hope everyone is enjoying this new site, as much as I am. I want to take a moment to thank my friend Katje @katjelynn for introducing me to this wonderful new site! I cant wait to start blogging and enjoying others blogs.

So, let me start with telling you all a little about my self. I was born and raised in Northeastern PA where I resided with my mom, two brothers and sister until I was 19. Then I moved to upstate NY and I completely fell in love with this area and have lived here for 17 years! That just made me feel really old!! I have lived in NY for 17 years!! I have so many great moments that have happened here. I met my husband of 14 years here, traveled here, had 2 beautiful boys who are now 11 and 9!! Time flies :)

Besides spending time with my amazing family, there are 2 things that I adore doing. DIY home improvement projects and enjoying nature. These are going to be my focal point for blogging. My most resent project was making a cupboard out of a dresser! I will blog about that soon to show you all how it came out! I just have to remember to photograph my work as I am doing it to show you all the steps! We are blessed to live in such a beautiful place. There are numerous waterfall parks that we go to, hiking trails, the Erie Canal, etc. I cant wait to share our adventures with you all!! Happy Steeming!!
