The Dreaming
I want to post to Steemit and keep it going every day. So, today would be the first post. Should I just dive right in? Of course, I stayed up most of the night being excited about this foray into Steemit. Also a bit nervous, right? But, you say the biggest thing is to enjoy and have fun.
Every day I want to create something that stays and that furthers the cause or meaning in my life. I taught my son a bit today through a you tube video on the American currency system and how it is built to collapse somewhere down the road. It is interesting that the Federal reserve has stockholders and we do not know their identities.
Someday, we might be shocked no know their identities. Is that why I want to delve into the cryptos? Mostly, I have seen things coming but not acted on what I saw.
My introduction (if I ever really get to it) consists of a current narrative, probable geographic locations, and work. I’ll start with the last. I work with youth who are being discharged from the system which includes foster care, mental health facilities, and the juvenile justice sytem. Somehow, I am a program designer, implementator, and director. Moreover, I also work directly with each youth. I have done this for a decade or more.
The work is emotional. I have a young family and frequently find it difficult to keep a balance.
I grew up and played hockey outside of Boston. Then, I moved to, and lived around Maine for the majority of young adulthood. Anthropology and psychology were the majors. Eventually, the girl of my dreams agreed to marry me. Then, at some point we moved to Akron. Then to Ocala. Then up to the Cleveland area where we currently reside. I fantasize of moving to the Upper Peninsula with my family where there is space and room to breathe.
So, maybe all that is out of the way. But, maybe not. I have been a member since October 2017 and have just finally decided to become active. I have not done much Facebook, Youtube, Whatsapp, Snapchat or whatever social media because I am pretty busy with what I do. Also, I did not have the vision for where I fit in.
Having a passion for youth is challenging and not immediately rewarding especially considering the effect of the educational system. These youth with are mostly products of behavioral management systems thinly disguised as education. The field has a high burnout rate. Many just withdraw from the frontlines into administrator positions where it becomes just like any other job.
My Son
To sum up, I wanted to write to you when I first got up this morning. However, I stayed up late into the night looking at Steemit and Youtube articles regarding currency, crypto, and politics. I learned some new terms like voluntaryist. Growing up where and when I did, meant that I did not succumb to all of the red pills. For example, I gave up television (idiot box), chocolate (because of being overweight), and swearing (because of the control it had over my thought processes) when I was about fifteen. Let us not even talk about vaccinations and the pharmaceutical industry. However, I managed to pick up and hold onto a lot of other shackles (probably everything you can imagine). Some persisted while others dropped off over the years. At some point, I became convinced that life consists of being able to let things go. The letting go list is long and the battles continue. But, that is the joy of it. Sometimes, you have victory over those things that weigh you down. So, you are able to savor that for a time. Until the next thing.
LOL. I got the same 3 colored milk crates in my room being used for a desk.
Wow. You also got the Prime box!
Got so many of them in my room. LOL

Thank you so much for your response, Dr. Leo. I am reading your intro post and trying to understand what you are all about. I have been a meat lover for most of my life but, thought I'd had enough and became a vegetarian a three years ago. I still eat fish but I would consider a totally raw non animal diet. So, I will follow you and try to pick up on some of your knowledge.
Alex, thank you very much for sharing. Every person who is Curious who doesn't believe in the status quo that is dictated by the norms of society will usually come too simple truths. Simple truths about food, about the financial system, about the people who rule the world. People with an IQ at least a standard deviation above the norm will begin to question the social Construct that is built around them. Slowly over time we all come two very similar conclusions. I'm proud to have you as part of my steem Team. This little conversation reminded me of a book comma think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill...
Sure, Dr. Leo. I read that book a long time ago. I hope that we can both do well here. Right now, daily life is a bit hectic. Sometimes , it goes from crisis to crisis. But, with preparation and dedication it is a way to thrive.
Yes indeed the dreamers will always fulfill their dreams if the vector is right and they take action. I would like to say , on record that my biggest successes came after the success of my team. So if you don't mind, without arrogance, I would like to edit the sentence to. From experience I know that everyone will do well if everyone does well. Oh man , that sounded like some real deep s***.
Welcome to sleemit! Sounds like you have an important and difficult job, I'm thankful for people like you who are out there trying to help others. I can't even listen to the news without getting emotional, you must be very strong :)
Hello @amymya. Thank you for your encouraging response. I agree with you on the news. It is frequently difficult to know what ever is the truth out there. Everyone seems to have an agenda. But, we got to ground ourselves on who we are and what we do everyday. I read your intro post and am interested in your herbalist approach. I love the northern coastal regions and will search your posts to learn more of life in Nova Scotia.
Well, looks like we started about the same time. I look forward to your journey, and my own.
Definitely.
