Upvoted and resteemed Josh Twitter just took my 34K follower account and suspended me 9 years of my hard work gone. I agree Steemit and other social media on the blockchain is the future.
Been waiting for an alternative to crackbook and shitter for a while and happy to have found it in Steemit! Let's hope things continue to progress for the benefit of all here and I'm so sorry to hear what happened to you. Keep your head up @an0nkn0wledge!
Ong.Social is the alternative to Fedbook while Zappl looks to be a promising up and coming micro blog platform like Twitter. I would look at Steemit as more of a wordpress or medium paid incentive combined with reddit. I will be interviewing both Ong.Social and Zappl for @Coinivore soon as we get things setup. :)
That's dope. I'm also working on a lil ICO myself, with a twist of course.. Hope to fill the void and offer a meaningful alternative!

You aren't kidding wow I lost all my followers sources, connections and friends. :/ I am an independent journalist and researcher Twitter just gutted my audience and my sources. It's a lesson for all independent journalist to not rely heavily on BIG SOCIAL to expand to other alternative social networks like - Gab, Steemit, Ong.Social and soon Zappl.
Why did they suspend you or did they not give a reason?
They straight up said I violated the TOS or Twitter rules and my account wouldn't be reinstated didn't say what Tweet did this so it's a cop out. When my account was targeted and harassed by a known serial harasser on Twitter but I lost everything and they won't restore it. So I am putting the final few nails into Twitter's coffin and contacting the BIG influential people I know to end its life span. ;)
That's so unfair but you just got to look to the future i.e Steemit

Facebook banned me months ago for a fake "aliased" profile as if any journalist now a days that is serious about exposing anything wouldn't use one. Far too many journalist have been killed over the years for simply doing their job. Danny Casolaro, Jill Dando, Michael Hastings, Christopher Story, Serena Shim and the list goes on and on.
thats very strange, i have been on Facebook since the early days when u neede da colege email address and i never gave them my real name, i always used my "Spirit name" that i chose myself base don keylontic Science from my Past life, its my reliegipous right, u can be a jedi if u want, who are they to say what ur name is

They held on to all the things that fucked our generation, putting millions in jail over marijuana for example, imagine all the old judges who sat there destroying lives...imagine if baby boomers had simply not allowed iraq war to happen, imagine how much better of a world we would have.....

our leaders are so selfish they do things for themselves and never for their constituents, a few are true to their constituents, but its just....its hard to want to rot for a system when u know its not working as eficiently as it could be
i have to realize its not always some personal struggle, and i should not be somad at any one group, i guess its agist for me to blame baby boomers....
but yeah anyway u should just crate another facebook account, or purchase one, u can buy them from people, u also can invoke your right to have a facebook account like alex jones does heh he threatens to sue them over 1st amendment anti monopoly laws etc

Soon facebook will require you upload a fucking government isues ID just to use their service, EVEN if you have uploaded THOUSANS of photos of yourself at your home over and over, theyll still want ur IS (do they can sel the information etc )
theyc ant ban people without opening up a lawsuit, facebook allows so many criminals to straight up deal drugs ovr their platform
Honestly facebook sucks use Instagram and Twotter and Reddit and Youtube and youll do fine, u can just focus on non facebook systems, and youll be fine
