Hello Everybody

What is to say about me? I'm almost 60 years old, born in Germany, living in England.

Several years ago my son told me to write about stuff which is unknown to many people. I only commented on German websites and blogs. And I'm still feeling a bit uncomfortable to write in English, while at the same time I prefer English. Who understands German?

About 20 years ago I became suspicious about the narratives of politicians and the media. I started reading about covert and clandestine intelligence operations, watched documentaries and became even more interested in the history and the culture of two countries, which were targeted - decades ago - by UK and US intelligence to enforce regime change: Syria and Iran.

My blog will contain a bit of history but more other information about these countries like culture, food, arts, manufacturing. I also hope to meet Syrians and Iranians here on steemit to enrich my knowledge and resteem interesting content.

I will not discuss politics.
