Introduction of a farm mouse in the big city of Los Angeles California

Hello Steemit Community.

My name is Andrew Bernbeck. I am currently residing in beautiful Pasadena California. I grew up on a small farm in western Kansas. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Business-Management of Information Systems from Wichita State University, I followed my college girlfriend to Los Angeles where there were better job opportunities.
After living in the city for a decade, this farm mouse is looking to return to his roots. I am currently researching opportunities of opening an organic farm including hydroponic/tilapia grown micro greens as well as cattle and maybe a few goats and certainly some free range chickens.
I am not one to talk about myself in such a public manor but I want to help document my journey towards culinary freedom from unhealthy/unobtainable/untrusted/overpriced sources. My desire is to provide healthy options for my family as well as the local community.
I have identified multiple properties that I hope are still available once my funding is ready.

These yearly spring excursions back to the Bernbeck Family Farms has consistently been refreshing my "green thumb" and the desire to take care of and raise animals. It's in my genes. :) The farm has been in the family for three generations and we hope to pass it on to the forth.
In terms of crypto currencies, I heard about Bitcoin first from a coworker before a meeting in early 2010, I think. I didn't dip my toe in until I heard you could purchase a crypto-currency pegged to the price of silver, my main passion at the time. That's when I found Bitshares.
