Hi Steemit people, my name is Anja! :)
Hi everyone! I am excited to be a part of the Steemit community. My name is Anja and I am agronomist, well, at least on paper. :D I live in Zagreb, Croatia but for the past few years I am looking to move to the countryside to get more experience in agriculture. I am very curious person, so I am always trying something new.
My experience in agriculture started with tulips. I have few varieties and about 10.000 of them. Every time they bloom I am totally in love with the colors and it feels like a hand full of Aspirin (as my mom would said).
Currently I am at the end of plantation of blueberries. I have 6 varieties, and a little less the 5.000 seedlings. Hopefully, next year I will be able to try my product ;) and I can't wait. In every step I have big help from my fiancee who is also agronomist. He is teaching me how to drive tractor among other things.
Also, I like to cook and really enjoy good food, (and good wine, good company) so you can expect a bunch of recipes and food photos.
Except food, I enjoy spending time in nature, experiencing new places, I like to travel, I like summer dresses, sunny days, positive people...

Since im from the Netherlands you can imagine i love tulips also :-)
But one of my hobbies is my vegetable garden so i can imagine how much joy you get out of your study/work!

Oh yes....in 1/2 months lots of tulips here, really worth a visit!

Hello @anjamatic - welcome! I think you'll find a large community of #gardening #homesteading and #food lovers here. 5,000 blueberry seedlings is incredible! I have 5 bushes - I can't imagine 5,000!
