Hey what's up steemit Family!?

Name is Apostle Atarah or outside I’m well known as Gilbert S Ginono. I’m a newbie in the cradle, but hey I grow up fast! I got to know this platform from my couzin and her friends. I was wowed at the idea that I get to showcase my skills and passions to a community of people that are talented as well. I can’t wait to get to know you guys but before I get too excited let me introduce myself clearly:
I’m originally from Tanzania where they speak Swahili, now you know what that means the moment we use the word ‘originally’. Yeah you guessed it; I’ve lived in more than three countries for more than five years each, in fact in one of these countries I’ve lived for 11 years. I’m now in the Philippines, I’ve been here for 3 years and counting.
That’s right, now we have steem handsome.

Culturally speaking, I don’t even know who I am anymore. I can fluently speak the languages of each country I’ve lived in and am still learning the Filipino language, but my swahili sounds almost as bad as that of a Caucasian tourist trying to say something for the first time. But hey I’ll tell you someting, I’m a Christian and I’m proud to say that I found true purpose in life and true identity in Christ. Yep, I’m crazy enough to believe in him, but that’s just to let you know the driving force behind my life.

Alright, so a few interesting things about my life here we go:

1. Photography: Never liked this before but I gained at interest in the Philippines where ‘one more photo please’ means ‘one more photo album please’. No I’m not the best photographer, but I just like to see some portraits that look cool and classic (like one of a president, an ocean view, or a cup of coffee on a hotel window) even if they carry less meaning. below is one I took when my friends and I went out hiking.
   See, good looking, but no meaning at all! Or if you find any meaning feel free to share your ideas.

2. Second thing I like is medicine. Yap, I’m a med student. It’s boring to study, but amazing to diagnose and treat. No wonder many surgeons feel like they’re gods sometimes, and when they kill someone, god’s will? Naaa that sounds like malpractise penalties.

3. I do lots of writing and public speaking. If you feel like you’re never heard when you speak try public speaking. I do a lot writing such as deep proverbs and brief stories with deep meanings. You’l probably get to see them here. I’m also currently writing a biography, entitled ‘Hearts & Garments’.

4. I love poetry, particularly Shakespearean ones and I enjoy making psalms as well.

5. Music is simply my thing. Love singing.

6. And lastly, I love travelling. Not too much of it though. It gets me sick and it’s boring to be on long flights, even though the service ladies in the airlines often meet my high standards for prettyness.
   And yes, I am blacker than black panther. So like this post so that I can get a better LDR for quality lighting! 😄

There is so much I could say about myself, but I thank God for a community like this that allows young people, as well as the old, to express their abilities and benefit from doing it. Ever since I started public speaking, my greatest goal has been not to waste anyone’s time. Uplifting others and letting them see other perspectives on important issues of life, like relationships, health, education, and family, is all my passion, at the same time I get to see your interesting posts and discuss things through comment and laugh along with fun ideas and much more.
