Hi Bill, nice to meet you. Sorry for your loss . Harmful addictions are symptoms of a broken society and culture. How we as species came to this point is another long and complicated story. I learned one thing over the years and that is our mind is like a container that can hold so much thoughts, and it wont distinguish between harmful or helpful thoughts, just like blockchain does not judge the data but it acts on it. The reason I tell you this is that if you would like to help people stay away from drugs divert their attention to helpful thoughts that they can enjoy. Do not talk to them about drugs ever, talk to them about fishing bass or planting vegetables or raising chickens or computers and technology, etc. Take care
