Legend of the Lake Sairam-su

 One of the most picturesque valleys of our region - Sairam-su. There, at an altitude of 2350 m is a lake of glacial origin. The basin has its guitar shape. The water in the lower lake of turquoise color, very cold and replenished from a powerful underground springs. Interestingly, the color of the lake is clearly demarcated on the transparent blue and turquoise. And, in any weather, these colors are clearly seen. On this occasion, there is a legend. In ancient times, people lived in the high mountains. And, as usual, the daughter of the head of the tribe since infancy was betrothed to a rich khan. She grew up the daughter of the mountains and steppes of the beautiful and free, proud and strong. It is time, she fell in love in a young man, a shepherd of a kind. We decided to ask the blessing of young parents. But the girl's father was angry. He demanded to do his duty and become the wife of a rich khan from it. Do not be! - I decided proud girl.
