A Bluetooth Cassette Tape - This will make sure that today's kids will never know what the real cassettes were!
I've had it for several years and have used it quite a bit. The need to charge does make it a bit less useful than it could be otherwise. Mine was also a little noisy as there is a mechanism inside that makes both wheels move to fool the tape player into thinking that it's a real tape. Modern tape players will eject a tape when it's driving one wheel and the other doesn't turn on it's one in order to keep you from playing broken tapes.

Actually, bongshift? I still see those regular cassettes being sold in CVS drug stores. I think they are like the typewriter. They will never be phased out no matter how far electronics and technology evolve. They will even outlive dental floss, believe it or not. Anyhow, you write an interesting article. :)
