I Finally Did It! Get To Know Me!! – First Step of My Journey To Success

Would you like to read my story to discover how we start this awesome journey together on Steemit? It also helps me if you share your story here in the comment section to know everyone. Here on Steemit, It looks so many people have more experience than me, I hope i don’t make fool of myself.

I am feeling too good to be part of the such a awesome steemit community where people can share their thoughts from different fields of interest which improves our knowledge by reading it.

A special thanks to @moneyguruu, @joeparys for introducing me to steemit and with his explanation I thought that it would be helpful to give it try. 

Who am I anyway?

My name is Digvij Borda, I am a 21 year old from India. As a study, I am Computer Engineer and today I’m happy to share some interesting stuffs with you.

Just a five years back, I don’t know anything about how to turn on/off a computer. But now I was crazy for computer and tech gadgets. I spend my whole day for coding, video editing, creating logos, watch latest movies and playing games.

My hobbies are reading books, woodworking, camping and photography. I also want to add internet surfing in my list of the hobby but it is not a hobby it is an addiction. I sure internet like 15-16 hours a day because of the internet has become a drug for me.

    Hello bordadigvij! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

    1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
    2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
