I guess that you can pretend that steemit is like an imaginary friend. I could start talking to that imaginary person about fruit trees, or power tools, or Bible Scripture. You do not have to dive into something that you do not want to talk about. You could talk about why certain things make you upset, or things that inspire you. Then you can find other people that write about stuff that you are interested I and resteem their articles. Just spend time and post articles that help you grow...because other people might be following you (that sounds kind of creepy) and you should feel somewhat responsible to help educate others!
