Hi guys!!
I'm finally able to introduce myself to you guys :D
First things first...
It was one of my closest friend who posted and shared her experience on using steemit in Facebook. At first, I was kind of skeptical because it was kind of sketchy. Well, I don't really have an idea on how things work that's why i thought it was sketchy but I conversed with my friend more on how things work on steemit and I can say that I am very well convinced. I applied for an account last week and today I received the approval that my account is ready to be created and here I am introducing myself. I want to thank my friend first for introducing Steemit to me. :D

Who is Carlo Angelo?
Yeah, my name is Carlo Angelo and I usually go by Carlo or sometimes Kaloy(Filipino nickname for people whose name is Carlo/Carl). I'm a 24 year old Software engineer who works at Accenture #Accenturized. LOL. Lately, I have stopped traveling due to constraints on both time and money but given the chance I would really love to travel the whole Philippines then travel to different parts of the world. I'm a very bubbly and a very friendly person, I usually lose my voice just by talking to everyone around me.

My Story
I took an engineering course when I was in college, I was majoring on electronics and communications engineering in the most prestigious engineering schools here in the Philippines(I'm bragging, I know haha), the Mapua Institute of Technology(recently changed it's status to university therefore now called, Mapua University). Took the ECE board exam and failed but it didn't really get me down. Haven't taken the exam again since 2016 but I'm planning to take it in the near future. My current work is kind of different to what I studied in college but I'm a fast learner so I get by.

What will I be posting?
I'm currently on my journey to become more sexy. Reducing weight using the ketogenic diet. So I would be posting more on my journey to being more sexy.
I'm also an aspiring photographer but I'm really not that enthused on using digital cameras. I love shooting pictures using my analog cameras. I'm currently using my new Lomo'Instant Automat Glass from lomography.

Hi Carlo, looking forward to your posts here on Steemit, I'm still new but best advice is to research how to maximize this platform and really engage with the community rather than leaving nonsense comments or spam.
I noticed you mentioned Ketogenic diet, personally I think that would be a very interesting topic, to post your progress. My advice is, Ketogenic requires dedication so cutting out the carbs might drive you crazy, good luck!
yep. It was really hard getting rid of the carbs but I was able to do it. Haven't had heavy carbs for almost 4 months. :D And thanks for the advice :)
Whoa, so how's life with no carbs? No sweets must be painful, at least for me
It really is hard. But I'm still looking for a way to eat sweets and stay in keto. hahaha. Some people have done it, but my resources are not that great that's why. hahaha
Keto is like little to no carbs, incorporating sweets is close to impossible I think, that's why it could never work for me. Can't give up chocolates and pastries :(
I suggest people simply give up table sugar and all the substitutes. Just doing that would help millions of people lose weight. Table sugar is avoided as if it were poison by me. It is very bad for me especially since my immune system is compromised (Anthrax "vaccines").
I still eat potatoes and get some carbs, but I cannot eat wheat either. That makes avoiding all of the carbs from bread and all the related stuff pretty easy. My body is basically forcing me into a Viking diet. haha I eat unprocessed meats, fruits, and veges almost exclusively.
What about honey? It is loaded with calories, and I'm guessing it breaks your diet's rules.
Hi @finnian, yep honey would break my diet's rules. Hehe. I usually use stevia and erythirol as replacaement for sugar. Hehe.
Potatoes is loaded with starch so it's one of the food to be avoided while in keto. :)
Yeah, potatoes do bad things to me too, so I need to avoid them anyway (not just for the weight gain issue). I get all itchy and covered in a rash when I eat them, wheat, eggs, or dairy. It is as if my body is forcing me to only eat fruit, meat, and certain veges.
I ignored my diet yesterday and had some potatoes for lunch from a food truck. Then I paid for it all the rest of the day. Last night I didn't sleep well because of the itching. Bah!

Your very welcome, I just got out of what I am now calling Bandwidth Purgatory. (In essence rendering one unable to do anything on the site like post, comment, collect rewards, and preform transactions on the market. I just found this out the hard way, so it may behoove you to look it up.) After uploading the second chapter of my #steemitnovel I realized I had just pulled a rookie mistake by not resizeing my photo before uploading.
I don't think you have to worry about this for the first couple of weeks. I would recommend converting all the rewards you get into Steem Power once you start collecting them. I have just completed 3 weeks here. It does take some getting used to, there is a rather LARGE learning curve. But it looks like people are giving you some love that always helps. It can be difficult getting your content in front others eyes. Have fun, it's a bit like the wild west out here in Steemland.
